The Starlight Foundation grants this type of accreditation to spaces, activities or companies that meet a series of conditions favorable to stargazing and promote the development of activities related to this natural resource. For this purpose, a study is made of the resources and values of the place, the qualifications of the human team responsible for its management, the offer of quality tourism products linked to the natural and cultural resources of the territory, etc.
The Starlight certification of the Academia Náutica Océano SL and ten other nautical companies along the coast is subsidized with Next Generation funds within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan included in the Tourism Experiences Spain project of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain, Sea Starlight project, united by the sea, twinned by the stars, led by Nautic Océano and supported by the Starlight Foundation.
