II Starlight Conference (La Palma 2009)

This meeting was held the 9 and 10 November 2009 and it served to reflect about the important progresses performed in defense of the night sky and preservation of the associated cultural heritage, scientific and environmental, as well as in the future objectives and challenges. Similarly, it progressed in the identification of case studies, contents and proposals of the natural areas, sky landscapes and exceptional sites for the observation and they were analyzed and they proposed actions of coordination, diffusion and creation of networks to promote the defense of the sky.
