CSW70 (2026)

The seventieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from March 9 to 19, 2026.

In its 70th session, the CSW will focus particularly on strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, as well as eliminating the structural barriers that continue to limit equal opportunities in many areas.

Throughout the event, United Nations Headquarters will host plenary sessions, panel discussions, and side events examining public policies, experiences, and best practices related to gender equality.

Antonia Varela, Director of the Starlight Foundation, will attend this international meeting as a member of the Spanish delegation.
