Forbes Tenerife Innovation Tourism Summit 2026

Forbes will hold the Forbes Tenerife Innovation Tourism Summit 2026 on March 26 at the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey Hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The event will bring together business leaders, tourism professionals, public officials, and national and international experts to examine the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of tourism in Tenerife.

Throughout the morning, participants will explore key issues such as tourism governance, investment, technological innovation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, cultural and natural heritage, gastronomy, and the development of more resilient and regenerative tourism models.

Antonia M. Varela, Director General of the Starlight Foundation and Director of the Museum of Science and the Cosmos, will participate in the session entitled “Science, Sky, and Territory: Astrotourism as a Competitive Advantage.”

Her presentation will examine scientific and astronomical tourism as a distinctive asset for Tenerife, combining science, sustainability, the protection of the night sky, and international positioning.

The summit will also feature representatives from the Canary Islands Government, the Tenerife Island Council, Turismo de Tenerife, Turespaña, SEGITTUR, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations, and leading companies and organizations from the tourism, hospitality, technology, and investment sectors.

The event will conclude with the presentation of the Tenerife Manifesto on Technological Innovation for Resilient and Regenerative Tourism.
